The Poetry Link Exchange is a simple banner exchange for Poetry and Literature related sites. There are several factors which seperate this exchange from all the others. For one thing, you get targeted exposer, what that means is that your banner won't show up on some hardware site where no one would ever click it, instead it is going to appear on a Poetry or Literature related site, so there is a pretty good chance the person you're showing it to is someone intrested in Poetry or Literature(i.e. the PERFECT person to display your banner to!)
This is NOT some fancy exchange with on-line stats and 2:1 click through ratios(though you will be able to have your stats e-mailed to you). The deal is simple, you put the HTML code on your site, and supply us with 1-3 468x60/400x40/200x40/88x31 gif or jpg banner(s), and your banner(s) will be put into the list. If you join the Poetry version of our exchange then there are NO non-literature related banners forced into the list, and WE DO NOT hog half the banners like other exchanges do. Our banners have the same chance of being shown as yours does, as all banners are chosen at random. Also, you can view exactly which banners will be appearing on your site by exploring the links on the left.*
To qualify your site must have poetry and/or some original writings.
*NEW* The PLE has a few restrictions to try and ensure quality within the exchange. Your site will not be accepted if it includes automatic background music (optional music by the user's choice is acceptable), busy animated backgrounds (these are usually very tacky and make the pages hard to read), and unfair PLE banner placement.
Since this is not an automated service, please give us 2-3 days to review your poetry site and add you to the list. Then you need to tell all your Internet buddies about it, because the more people that are involved, the farther our reach for new hits.
*Only those banners in the Poetry sections will show up on your site.
