axiUm Report Package

So far, these are the reports that are part of the Metrics Report Hub at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. We have initial permission to "share everything", but the actual availablily will be pending a more formal review.

"Table" reports are similiar to many Crystal Reports, and can have Grouping, Sub Totals, and Grand Totals (and counts, min, max, etc). Additionally, any report usually has a Table shown at the bottom as a "details" drilldown to see the data behind any chart, even if "Table" isn't listed as the Report Type.

BaselineNumberThis report shows a simple count, of all patients who meet the search criteria. It is used to confirm accuracy across other reports in the same report hub.

Procedure Counts (Current Info)table This report shows how many patients had each procedure (excluding step codes), and how many times those procedures were completed

Screened to Complete (Screening and Trx in Date Range)multi-series chart Shows how many patients were screened, how many of those had comp evals, how many of those had other treatment, how many of those were marked as case complete.
Survey of Dental EducationTable This one shows a variety of values, to assist with filling out the annual CODA Survey of Dental Education. Unfortunately, I think this one would need the most work to customize for each school, as ours isn't even perfect yet as we are still working to be more consistent with how we enter the data across clinics. However, I do think it could help a lot of schools do better than they are now with this.Related
Screened PatientsSingle Series Chart Shows how many of the patients who were seen in the date range (had any treatment) had previously been screened.Yes
Demographics - LanguageSingle Series Chart Shows the top 4 primary languages for your patients (others can drilled down to by clicking the "Other" category). This is a potential CODA Standards of Care Measure, if you state that you record the patient demographics (the idea being that your "Unspecified" is low, or 0). It can also be helpful in determining the need for translators or translated forms.Yes
Demographics - RacesSingle Series Chart Shows the top 6 races for your patients (others can drilled down to by clicking the "Other" category). This is a potential CODA Standards of Care Measure, if you state that you record the patient demographics (the idea being that your "Unspecified" is low, or 0). Since multiple races can be selected, the "pie" slices represent all possible combinations to keep the overall total from having duplicates, however you can find out how many patients identify as any potential race total by reviewing the tool-tip for any single-race entries.
Demographics - EthnicitySingle Series Chart Shows the selected Ethnicity values for your patients.Yes
Demographics - AgeSingle Series Chart Shows the selected Age buckets values for your patients. It currently just shows "Adult" and "Adolescent" but it is on my list to expand that into a few more categories. Other variations would be easy as well, such as saying "0-10", "11-20" etc.
Demographics - GenderSingle Series Chart Shows the selected Gender values for your patients.

eRx LogTableShows a summary of eRx errors, grouped by provider and eRx Error Code (bad_provider_id, bad_parameter). Can help to identify when users are trying to login to eRx before their eRx user account is set up. Can be filtered by one month or the current day.

Custom Script LogsTableShows a summary of how long various Custom Scripts took (or if it completed), allowing you to drill-down to see how long each individual process took. Only works for custom scripts which write logs to the ax_log table.
View/Function Performance ReportTableAnalyzes oracle performance logs to indicate which scripts are taking up the most CPU time so that they can be optimized. (Takes a while to load)
Crystal ReportsTableThe Cystal Reports used in axiUm, and the tables and fields they reference. Can be useful to identify which reports need updating after an axiUm upgrade. (Requires a seperate tool to be installed to scan the .rpt files, such as Report Runner Documenter)

Treatment to Treatment Measures - These measures are a bit different than those above, in that they are all comparing two treatments often on the same tooth site, the count of patients or treatments based on the first set of procedures and a single series chart showing those who had or had not a treatment in the second series of procedures. They are all dynamically created through a configuration window, and show a Dentation Count Chart drill-down if they are site-specific in addition to the details level drill-down that shows patient charts and provider codes. Using the configuration windows, it is easy to set up your own Treatment to Treatment measures without creating any additional SQL objects or SQL Queries. These also make great CODA Standard of Care Measures!
