Vampire Eyes
Chapter 1, "Hell Has Begun"

Hell has begun. And it has begun in a small town in Canada - Birmingham, Nova Scotia. Quite frankly the town was the perfect setting. As rumors have it, some ancient "beings" have resorted to living in this town, though, no one had the proof. Hardcore proof that is. If anything, maybe a sighting or two, but nothing good enough. But to how hell has started. And to why it started. How, is quite simple. But, how, takes a while to tell. And, so, I will tell it.
At one point, in 1998, there was a fire, down by Beavers Lodge, quite a popular attraction in Birmingham. The fire was supposedly arson. And supposedly caused by those ancient "beings" that had inhabited the town a few years ago.Though no one had any major proof that it was even arson. But, soon after this incident, some "things" began to happen.
These "things" were like moods... changing very quickly, from harmless to harmful to harmless again. It was like the person doing these "things" couldn't make up their minds just what to do. Should they cause harm? Or not? But, to what these "things" were.
The first "thing" to happen was rather harmless. Someone had written on St. Anthony's Catholic Church's wall. The words: St.Anthony will meet us in Hell!!!
Now, truly this was harmless. It caused a panic attack on old Mr. Burns, for he had to clean up the mess.Yet, no one was quite sure why it had happened, but after a week it was never mentioned again.
The second "thing" was harmful. Quite harmful. In fact, it killed 5 people.
It was a car crash, but not an accident. The brakes had been tampered with.Cut through like it was a piece of paper. It had happened during a party, a wild one at that.
And as five teens were driving, the driver being quite sober, the brakes failed and they drove off the cliff. The car exploding on the way down.
The third "thing" was another harmless thing. Someone had vandalized a statue of a Mounty police officer. Rather comical at that. A beard and mustache was drawn on the face, while the outfit was colored in with bright paint. But, yet again Mr. Burns had a panic attack. For, yet again, he had to clean up the mess.
The fourth "thing" was cruel, and killed all children and personnel (including teachers) at the local elementary school. 190 all together. The school has been blown to smithereens, by a very powerful bomb. This shocked all people in this little town of Birmingham. To the point where some would not even let there teens go to high school. It was all over the news, and soon, the little quiet town of Birmingham knew of unspeakable horrors, that they never wanted to know.
Yes, hell had begun. And it had only began. For remember that that was only last year.Who knows what will happen this year. Many have wondered what was to come of this place, many have moved from this quiet little town of Birmingham. And this story takes place in June of 1999, where some people are deciding on whether or not to move.

"I don't want to move. I see absolutely no reason to move.We have lived here for all my life.Which is sixteen years.Sixteen!!!And you never wanted to move before. So, why start now???", Jessica Lee asked angrily.
"You know as well as I do why we should move. People have been disappearing since the beginning of January and it is becoming just to scary. Next thing you know you will be gone and we will have no daughter left.", Mr..Lee said just as angrily.
Jessica sighed. "Oh, Dad get a life. Like I am actually going to disappear. You know all the people who have disappeared have been, like, old people. No young teenagers. So, Dad, you see, no worries here."
"Honey, teenagers could be next, you know that as well as I do. That is why we are moving. To a safer place. We just cant live in Birmingham anymore, and take any chances.", Mrs..Lee said sadly, looking at her daughter as though she knew that it wasn't going to work.
"But, Mom, Dad......", Jessica tried again.
Her Dad was firm, "No buts. We are moving."
        And that was that.

Two hours later.....
"So you see Dad and Mom are being stubborn and just wont listen to normal, logical reasoning. I just wish they would listen to me.", Jessica complained over the phone.
Adrianne Grove said grimly, "But we need you here. You know that and so does everyone else. We have to have you here. Birmingham is at stake."
"Damn, don't you think I know? I know you need me, but what am I gonna do? My parents are not gonna go for me staying behind. You know that. And I know I can't leave. And you know two reasons why I can't.One, because you all need me for the "plan" next week and two, Nick needs me right now. You know he is going through a really bad time right now and he needs me. I can't just leave him when he is this way.", Jessica said frustrated at the thought that she had to leave.
Nicholas Hope was her boyfriend, in addition to being a cross-dresser. He was going through
a rather rough time. His dog, Kinsan, just dying; his grandma admitted to the hospital; his dad having a heart-attack; and his mom, who was from Thailand, thinking about going back. How could she possibly leave him now? There was just no way. No possible way she could do that.
And the "plan" next week. This was important. And it would be a major breakthrough if done correctly. And she was a big part of this plan, so they needed her for that. If there was only a way that she could stay. There had to be a way.
Jessica looked around her room. She was gonna miss this room. It had been her room for sixteen years. She had it just the way she liked it. Messy. That was true, the floor wasn't even noticeable. Clothes were strewn everywhere, with maybe a couple of papers to top it off. Her drum set was in the corner, just waiting to be banged on. Her dresser top was no more, little statues were on it - music boxes - and even a
couple of pictures. It was dark in the room, even with the light on. Her walls and ceiling were painted black; and her comforter, sheets, curtains, etc were all red and white striped. A very comfortable room.
"Jess, I got it! I got the perfect plan. Now listen, and listen closely.", Adrianne whispered over the phone.
Jessica smiled as she heard the plan.
        It was perfect.

The Next Day

"Hey y'all, sup????", Julie Kimball asked happily.
Jayson Dechelbor groaned, "Dont act so happy. It is not a happy time. It is a time to
wish you were never born. A time--"
"Jayson, shut up, ok? I am very happy right now, Mom said that I can get on birth control. Thank you God for that!! So, Jayson, beloved, how are you?", Julie asked, linking arms with Jayson and looking into his eyes.
"How do you think I am? I am always the way I am. Heh.", Jayson said bluntly.
Julie sighed, "Me, I have a boyfriend who is depressing. Jess, we get a plan a-going for you not moving? Adrianne said something about it. So, what is going on?"
Jessica looked up from her magazine, "Hell if I know. Adrianne told me and I thought it was good, but, now, I can't even remember what the damn plan was even about."
"Oh,that is really a big help.", Julie sighed out.
"I know it is. I like to be a big help. It makes me feel so useful.", Jessica said. There was a dull tone in her voice. Like she wasn't even there.
"Where's Matt? Where's that asshole at???", Jayson asked.
Matt Jones came out from the kitchen. "That is Mr.Asshole to you. What do you want?"
"I want to know if everything is ready for next week on your part.", Jayson answered.
Adrianne popped her head out of the kitchen, "Lets all wait 'till everyone gets here 'till we discuss next week ok? And we need you all for the plan for Jess staying here. Jess? Did you already forget it???"
"Who me? Forget it? Nah,it is just that I don't know what it is.", Jessica smiled sweetly.
Julie asked, "Who all needs to get here?"
"Umm, Ben, Tara, Justin, Roy, Nick, Emily, and Heather.", Adrianne replied, as she rolled her eyes to what Jessica had said.
"Woohoo! That is a lot of people who isn't here you know. I hope nothing bad happened to them.", Matt told Adrianne.
Jayson asked, "Anyone know where they all are at? We have some important stuff to discuss you know."
"Nick will be late. Makeshift funeral for Kinsan. Ben and Tara will also be late. They have to go to an Aids testing thing.", Jessica said,in the same dull tone.
Julie smiled, "Emily is out looking for more hot guys. And Heather is like out trying to find a bracelet. She will be here soon. As will Emily."
"Justin and Roy are out four-wheeling, so they should be here soon.", Matt smiled.
Jayson sneered, "These people!!! They don't know the meaning of getting places on time."
Julie quit listening to Jayson. Jayson was her boyfriend, and she was used to hearing him yell at people. And be very mean to them. People could not even believe that those two were even boyfriend and girlfriend. Total opposites. Jayson coming from a background that no one would want to come from. Julie coming from a background that everyone wanted. But definitely Jayson. He definitely wanted that.
Now as Julie looked around Adrianne's living room, she didn't think about Jayson. She concentrated on what Adrianne's living room looked like. It was remarkably homey. A place you just wanted to stay forever.
Julie focused on the couch first. Despite the fact that Jessica took up most of the couch. Now Julie, be nice. Just because Jess is a little bit overweight doesn't make her a blob, she thought to herself.
She looked at the couch again. She wanted the couch. It was velvet, a beautiful deep red velvet. It matched the velvet curtains, which were also deep red. The floor was covered in deep red carpeting. A velvet chair in the corner, which Jayson had claimed as his own. It was surprising that he sat in it. He was uncomfortable around fabrics such as velvet or satin. The walls were painted white, more of an off-white than a regular white. It went well with the deep red.
Julie was joggled out of her thoughts by the phone ringing.
Jessica picked it up since she was the closest. "Hello?", still in that dull tone. "Uh-huh, yeah, ok, we will be right there, just hold on, don't move, don't make a noise, we will be there ASAP!!!", the dull tone was gone and in came paniced tones. Clicking the phone in the receiver, Jessica said excitedly, "Big trouble down by Winners Well, Heather and Emily are down there and are in big trouble."
That was all that needed to be said. Everyone rushed out of the door. It didn't take long to get to Winners Well,it was only a block away. And by the time everyone got there, they saw nothing wrong.
"Did they say what was wrong? Any hints to what was going on?", Matt asked.
Jessica just shook her head, "No, though I heard a noise that I thought was suspicious."
Jayson grabbed Jessica's arm and asked hurriedly, "What was it???"
"Ouch!!! That hurts. It sounded like the bushes were moving. You know like someone was moving around in them. Or something.", Jessica said lifting Jayson's hand off of her arm.
Winners Well was in the park, surrounding this well were bushes. Made in a circular position to go with the well. There was a gap somewhere around the bushes so people could come to the well. It was called Winners Well because people used to have races in their cars to see who could get to the well first. But, always the cars could not stop just right before the well came, so the car to hit the well first was undoubtedly the winner.
The group looked around at the bushes. Maybe a hint to where they were at. A piece of clothing, hair, anything that would tell them where they were. But, it was all to no avail. They found nothing. Nothing at all.
        "HEATHER!!!", Matt yelled, "EMILY!!!"
"Damnit!!! Matt, don't yell! Who knows who will be here and overhear you. Who knows what got Emily and Heather? It could be one of the---", Jayson was cut off by Adrianne who was standing rigidly by the Winners Well.
She hissed,"Shut up,Jayson!!We don't want anyone knowing. We have a problem here.We need to find them, we need them for the plan next Friday and if we don't have them it is gonna be a flop and it has to be done correctly and work."
"Dont you care that Emily and Heather are gone? Can't you think of anything besides the stupid plan? Lives are at stake here.", Julie said enraged by Adrianne's thoughtlessness.
Adrianne said calmly, "Yes, I care about them, but I also care about the lives of everyone in Birmingham. Is it better to lose 2 people or 700? And the many of those 700 who are related to us?"
"You two, can't you be quiet? Did you hear that?", Jessica asked.
"Hear what?", Matt's ears perked up.
A rustling noise came from one of the bushes.
        "That.", Jessica said grimly.
        It got louder.
"It is coming from behind Jayson. Jayson, don't move. You might scare whoever or whatever, off.", Julie said putting her arm on Jayson's shoulder.
Jayson looked mad, "Well, why the hell did it have to pick me to be behind?"
Julie just sighed.
        They heard the rustling again.
"Uh, you guys, I think we better get out of here.", Adrianne said as she heard the rustling again.
Matt grabbed Adrianne's arm, "No, lets stay here. But be very quiet. Whatever it is might be what got the girls. And if it is, then we have to see what we are up against."
"But then it might get us, we don't want it to get us. It is bad enough we lost two people, we don't want to lose anymore.", Adrianne said not listening to Matt and shaking his hand off her arm.
Jessica looked up, she had been staring at the ground, thinking, "You make it sound like they are dead."
"Yes,well, maybe they are.Maybe they are." Adrianne said grimly.
Suddenly there was a loud crash.
Everybody looked up. They hadn't noticed, but the sky had been getting darker.
"Oh, shit... that was thunder. We are gonna get a thunderstorm.", Matt said as a raindrop fell.
Julie looked at Matt, "No dippity. We should go. Ben, Tara, Nick, Justin, and Roy are gonna be worried about us, and we need them to help us look, plus it is beginning to rain and that is gonna make it way harder to look for everyone, so I suggest we go back."
"The smartest thing you have said in a long time.", Jayson said sarcastically.
Julie looked mildly offended. She was used to that.
Adrianne looked uncertain, but when a bolt of lightening struck down she said, "Where there is lightening, there is death, and where there is death, there is---"
Another clap of thunder droned out Adriannes sentence.
"Matt, do you think we should leave?", Jessica asked The dull tone was back.
Something is seriously wrong with Jess, Matt thought, but what could be wrong?
"Yah, I think we should leave. That would be a good idea. Julie actually has a point there.", Matt smiled at Julie to show that there was no hard feelings.
        Julie smiled back.
Jayson looked uneasy, "Er,can I move? You know with that rustling noise and all?"
"Ah! I forgot about that rustling noise. Oh well, we just have to leave Jayson behind. Don't worry we will come back for you tomorrow. If you are still here.", Matt shrugged his shoulders to show that he didn't know what else to do.
Jessica laughed, "Jayson, pay no attention to Matt and just move. I have noticed that the rustling noise has stopped. The thunder must have scared whatever it was away. So, are we going to stand here and let it rain on us? Or are we going to get the hell out of here?"
Adrianne was the first to answer, "Get the hell out of here."
With a round of agreement everyone left, talking about what they were going to tell everyone when they got back.
What they didn't know was that two red eyes were staring after them. And those two red eyes were looking for a nice meal.

Back at Adrianne's house...
Nick immediately opened the door and the first thing he said was: "Where the hell did you go?"
"Yah, what he said, where's Heather and Emily? What happened? Don't just stand there gawking! Get in here and tell me what happened!", Tara Leek pushed past Nick and pulled Julie in.
Jayson commented sarcastically, "Wow,she didn't slam the door in our faces. How surprising."
Tara just gave Jayson an evil look.
Jessica stepped inside. "I do hope we didn't worry you."
"Hope you didn't worry us?!? Oh, you worried us all right! To the point that I was going to go out and find you guys.", Nick looked at Jessica as if he was surveying her to see if she was all right.
Jayson pushed everybody aside and started dripping over the carpet, "Adrianne, sorry about the carpet. You know when you are wet you are wet."
Adrianne stepped inside and sighed, "Well, go get a towel and dry up. And clean it up."
Matt came in and said, "Damn, it is, like, pouring out there."
Ben Medler closed the door behind Matt, "Well, talk to us."
"Ok, well, it started when we got a call from--", Adrianne turned to Jessica. After all she was the one who had received the call.
"I will tell it. We got a call from Emily, she said that they were in trouble and were located at Winners Well. So, all of us went there. We saw nothing. We searched everywhere, but to no avail. We just couldn't find anything. So we were standing there just talking when we heard a rustling noise in the bushes. It was coming from behind Jayson--"
Jayson interrupted, "Yah, behind me.I don't see why it had to choose me."
"Anyways,", Jessica glared at Jayson, "we were just there listening to it and deciding on whether or not we should leave or just wait to see what it was, when the thunderstorm started. It must of frightened whatever it was away because we didn't hear any noises, then we decided to go back... and here we are."
Roy Rapelje came up to Jessica, "No sign of the girls?"
"No, none at all.", Jessica said grimly.
Justin Dargan sighed from where he was sitting. "Who knows where they are at. Hopefully, still alive."
"Well, Justin, I don't know about alive. Or at least Adrianne doesn't know about alive. She seems to have already said we lost 2 people without even trying. Jayson! Where are you? I need a towel, I am dripping everywhere.", Matt said looking down at his wet clothes.
Jayson's voice carried down the hallway, "Hey, listen Mr.Asshole, I am not your slave boy you know. So, get a life, ok."
"Ha! You make me laugh, you know that Jayson? Where's the bathroom at then? Might as well get the towel by myself. The work that I have to suffer!", Matt grinned as he disappeared down the hall.
Roy turned to Adrianne, "What is this? About you thinking that they might not be alive? Come on Adrianne, tell me you don't think that."
"Yes Roy, I do think that. And I will always think that. Until we find them alive, according to me and my mind, they are dead.", Adrianne said, looking at Roy as if he knew nothing about anything.
Ben sighed, "Well, what are we going to do? You guys checked Winners Well, already and found no clues. How are we going to figure out where they are? This is gonna be impossible."
"Nearly impossible. Lets think positively here people! We have what going for us? Well, not much. But some stuff...Work with me here people. We have got to find Emily and Heather. They are important you know. In more ways than one.", Tara said, looking at the group of friends.
Matt came banging down the hallway. "What about the well?"
        "What about it?", Nick asked.
Matt frowned, "Oh, didn't you know? The well doesn't have any water in it and it is only 10 feet down. With a bunch of tunnels and rooms and some such stuff down there."
"You dont think?", Jessica looked at Julie, who looked at Jayson.
Jayson smiled, "Hell! You never know. You just will never know until you try."
"What are we getting at here?", Justin asked, looking at everybody in the room.
Justin studied everybody. His glance landing first on his one of his closest friends Nick. Nick had a slight worried look on his face. It was really a mixture of worry and frustration. Nick had short black hair and brown eyes, Nick had been attempting to grow his hair out, but to no avail. Jessica was standing firm on Nicks hair length. She had even cut it once, when she thought it was too long. Nick finally just gave up on it.
Nick, was how to put it? Weird at times. But weird in a good sense. Nick was quite frankly a good friend to have, if you look past the fact that he half the time wore a trenchcoat and the other half a dress or skirt. Everyone in Birmingham knew Nick was a cross-dresser. They might disapprove, they might not care. But still, everyone knew.
Justin then turned to Jessica, and here he had to smile. Jessica was not odd looking. She was short, though, 5'4" and compared to Nick, basically a shrimp. Nick was 6'3" and this made them quite a couple when you saw them side by side. Jessica was overweight (she liked to use the word fat), long brown hair, and blue/grayish eyes. Jessica always pointed out that there was nothing good about her, but in fact there was some stuff she was lucky to have. Straight teeth (born with them at that, and very white too), long eyelashes (when that was pointed at Jessica never saw it) and hair that most people would love to have.
Tara, ah yes, Tara, she was overweight too, but not minding it as much as Jessica did. She was also on the short side. With short blond hair and blue eyes, she was one of those girls who figured she could get any guy she wanted. All of the girls were boy fanatics with the exception of Adrianne and Jessica. Those two weren't into boys as much. Tara and Julie always seemed to get into fights about a certain subject. The
subject being who could attract boys more. Tara says she always comes out on top, though Julie would tell you otherwise.
Justin then turned his glance to Matt. Ah Matt, he was quite a character. With orange color hair (Carrot Top according to Nick), and brown eyes, Matt was noticeable from quite far away. He too, half the time wore a trenchcoat, though with the other half he would wear guy clothes. Matt was weird, and wasn't afraid to admit to it. In fact, there have been times when Matt would openly state that he was weird and damn well proud of it too. But yet, Matt was easy to talk to, though he was a good talker. A horrible
writer.
Julie, oh, Julie, being the shortest one out of the group (if you tell her so she will get really mad at you. Till death comes to you, as she likes to say.) She has strawberry blond hair and blue eyes. She was skinny though, there were days she said she was fat. No one listened to her on those days. She was rich. Filthy rich. And when you see her and Jayson together and compare their backgrounds, it is so hard to see how they get along together. But, as Julie states, "It isn't what the person looks like or where the person has been or done. It is if they have a good attitude and if your heart desires them."
Adrianne was, well, Adrianne, she had curly blond long hair and blue eyes. She had her own sense of style, she never really followed what was in style. And if she did she never really looked to good in them. Adrianne liked to take over things. To take control, rather. If there was ever a situation that needed handling, Adrianne was there to handle it. Sometimes that got on peoples nerves. Which was not good. Adrianne at
times could get so controlling that people would feel like they were getting crowded. And no one needed that. No one at all.
Justin's gaze turned to Jayson. Jayson had brown hair and brown eyes. He was notorious for causing trouble. Yet underneath his tough exterior, he had a pretty good heart. At least, most people would assume that. Though sometimes you have to wonder. Jayson did have a pretty bad family life, and most people wondered about it, butonly a few people knew about it. Not even most of the group of friends knew about it.
Jayson liked to keep it secret, along with some other stuff. Some stuff that no one, not one single person knew about.
Justin looked at Roy. Roy was just a plain asshole, with brown hair and black eyes, Roy looked like an asshole from far away. But yet, despite this, people could easily become his friends, though he did have a certain fascination with guns. His bedroom walls was covered with a gun rack filled with guns. And he would never let you touch any of them, not for your safety but, because after all, they were his precious guns.
Ben had brown hair and blue eyes, and was the most nice person of the whole bunch. Julie coming in second, though Julie could get rather mean. Ben was the one everyone turned to. He was the most trusting. With all the problems people seemed to have, they needed somebody besides their parents to talk to. And Ben was the one. Now if Ben minded this or not, no one knows, because he never shows that he cares. Ben was also the one who worried the most and cared the most. Traits that got him around.
Justin then thought about himself. Blond hair and brown eyes, he was(as he liked to think) the cutest in the bunch. Though Jessica would tell him right out, Nick was better looking than him. Something Justin just wouldn't face, or believe for that matter. Justin was the most forceful, if he wanted something done, he would basically force the person to do it. Or at least make them feel really bad until they did it. That was a
trait that did get Justin into trouble sometimes.
There were two people missing. Emily and Heather. Justin sighed and thought, Where could they be? I don't get it.Something must have happened, those two can take care of each other pretty good.Or at least Emily can.
Jayson looked at Justin like he had gone crazy, "Dont you get it? The one place we didn't look was--"
Julie smiled, "In the well. They could be inside the well."
"What an idea! Inside the well? Inside the well? That is a laugh.", Roy started to laugh, then noticed that no one else was laughing.
Nick shook his head, "Roy, this is serious, maybe they went down there to hide. Or they went down there because they had to go down there. Someone could've took them and made them go down there. We don't know, that is why we have to explore all the possibilities."
"Sheesh, it was just a laughing thought. Gimme a break here people. It ain't my fault I found it very funny. I have a very good sense of humor is all. Not like you people.", Roy said, being his usual self.
Julie sneered, "How can Heather put up with an asshole like you? She needs a better man."
"As Jayson needs a better woman.", Roy said simply.
Before Julie could utter a comment, that would not be too good of one either, Ben interrupted, "You guys, now we mustn't fight you know. We need to think of what to do with finding Heather and Emily. Ok? We need to pull together here. Be a pack."
"You are making us sound like a pack of wolves or whatever comes in packs.", Jessica pointed out.
Matt smiled and said, "Pack of beer, more of a case, but, say, pack will do."
Adrianne looked slightly annoyed, "What about Heather and Emily? Are we forgetting about them? We don't need to know about beer or animals, goddamnit! We need to know about where Heather and Emily are at and when we are going to look in the well, to see if they are there or not. We gotta be planning this you all. Lives are at stake here."
"Now we be talking! Ok, well the storm is pretty bad and all. Maybe we should wait 'till tomorrow. 'till it lets up. You know. And besides, we got to talk about keeping Jess here. Do we need all of us to do that plan?", Jayson asked.
Arianne replied, "No not all of us. We have enough people to pull it off. As of waiting to search. Yes, that would be good. This storm is just way too heavy. So we talk over Jess' plan? Everyone agree to that?"
"Yah, yah, sure. But, what was the plan?", Jessica asked innocently.
Nick smiled, "That is my Jess, always forgetting something."
"I will take that as a compliment.", Jess said smiling.
Roy cut in, "Before you two get lovey dovey on this, we want to hear the plan."
"Yes, right. Well, Jess and I decided, well since Jess forgot, I decided basically, that we wanted a simple plan, with hardly anyone in it. But if at any time, something goes wrong, then we will have back up. Nothing should go wrong. But, just in case, we would like you to know. It is really simple, and a rather dumb witted plan. But, it will work. We are quite sure of that. It might be helpful if we have all the girls in on this. A sleepover, on the day before Jess has to leave. The night rather. Us girls will have a so long sleepover. What they don't know is that it will last 'till well past when they are due to leave.", Adrianne started to explain.
Julie nodded, "Yes, but won't they worry when Jess doesn't show up to leave?"
Jess smiled, "Oh, this I remember. Adrianne's mum is in this and will write a note saying that they decided to send me on an earlier plane. It is quite a stupid plan, but it will work. My parents will believe anything that comes out of Adrianne's mum's mouth."
"Oh, good enough for me. If it means Jess staying here than, I go for it.", Nick said slipping his arm around Jessica's waist.
Justin sneered, "You are right though, it is a rather stupid plan, but if your parents are gullible enough--"
"Trust me they are.", Jessica cut in.
Tara spoke up, "Well, then, when is this plan taking place?"
"Tomorrow night. So tomorrow we go hunting for Emily and Heather. Hopefully, we will find them. Then tomorrow night, it is Jess's plan. Then, if we have yet to find Emily and Heather, we will then go hunting for them again. And so on 'till we find them. Then next week, on Friday we have the major plan, that we need everyone for. Anything else going on for next week or the rest of this week?", Adrianne asked.
Ben shook his head, "Nothing that I know of. But this major plan we are having. It is going to be tough. And very hard to pull off. And I mean very, very, very hard to pull off. It is rather risky and all. You know. We might not pull it off."
"Or we might not survive. At all.", Tara said grimly.
"Come, come now, let's not sound so gloomy. I am sure it won't be that bad. The plan definitely can not be that bad. We will survive. As we have survived the others. We might have barely made it out of the last one. But,there was a fluke to that plan.A big fluke and we barely survived that. We are smarter than that. We are more smarter than we will be for a while. As we go through this plan we will become smarter. We become smarter with every move. Every step of the way. The more we do the plans, that attacks, every thing we do goes a long way. When did we start this? A year ago. Why? You all know why. Birmingham needs us. Needs us. Us. They need twelve pathetic teenagers to protect this whole stinking town of 700 people. And yet, they depend on us anyways, whether they know it or not.We do not need to let these people down, by thinking that we are going to die every time we go do a plan? Ok? Ok.", Adrianne said, with a look that
said, "Dont even think about arguing with me."
Matt laughed, "Only Adrianne can give a hardcore speech like that." Matt said it in away that made him sound... proud... of Adrianne.
"Speech? Hardcore speech? I think not. That was a lecture that will be ringing in my ears for the rest of my life.", Roy pointed out.
Jessica quietly said, "It was all Tara's fault."
"Oh, Jess, you know as well as everyone else knows that it wasn't Tara's fault. You all were due for a lecture anyways," Adrianne pointed out to Jessica, "And if I hadn't lectured you today, then it would have been tomorrow. You guys needed it as soon as possible."
Tara looked at Jessica and stuck her tongue out, "Ha! Ha! Ha! See? It wasn't my fault and never will be either. Hehehehehehe!"
        "Insane crazy person.", Jessica mumbled.
Luckily, Tara didn't hear it. Or she would not have been a happy camper. Tara did not like being called names. She appalled it.
"Ow chee wa wa! Look at the time. It is, like, midnight!", Julie exclaimed.
Jayson looked at Julie, "Why should you care? Need your beauty sleep?"
"It just so happens I do. How do you think I look all beautiful? Not from staying up at all hours.", Julie retorted back.
Ben said quietly, "Have you noticed that the Westminster clock hasn't chimed in any of the hours?"
"Yah, I have noticed. I wonder why. It can't be broken. You don't think it is do you?", Tara asked.
        DING!!!
Nick looked out the window and saw a heavy down pour of rain, "There it is. Should only be one."
        DING!!!
"Whoa, wait....two rings? Is it messed up?", Roy asked.
        DING!!!!!
"Shhhhh....", Justin looked at Roy angrily.
        DING!!!!DING!!!DING!!!DING!!!DING!!!DING!!!!DING!!!!DING!!!DING!!!
        DING!!!
Jessica was breathing shallowly, "Thirteen times. It chimed thirteen times. Thirteenth hour is the hour of the ghosts."
